42,700 people were evacuated, at least 300 homes totally collapsed and more than 10,000 were damaged, mostly in the areas of Primera Villa and Baracoa. There were seven reported injuries.
Roads from Baracoa to Maisí and Moa were unpassable due to fallen trees and landslides that blocked access. Nearly five inches of rain fell by 10 a.m.
Tides were up to 1,312 feet.
Remains from the Cemetary de Baracoa have come out of their coffins.

La Yaya, the biggest dam in the Guantánamo province, capable of containing 160 million cubic meters of water, was at 99 percent capacity by 10 a.m.
